Internships can give you the experience, insight, and network to make a change in your career.

Internships are a great way to test the waters and find out if you are ready to make the transition from student to full-time employee. As you can see, we have had some great growth over the past few years, and we credit much of it to our internship program.

We followed up with the students who spent six to nine months at Liftric working on projects that caught their interest, meet Johanna, Duc and Can:

Johanna Reuschel
Frontend

I‘m studying Business Informatics master‘s degree at the University of Mannheim. I‘m originally from Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg, and I moved here 4 years ago to do my bachelor's degree. I always worked next to my studies and most of the time for the university until I started working for Liftric in July.

While working at Liftric I‘m acquiring new skills as a frontend developer and I also learned how to work in an agile development team. It also helped me to reaffirm that I want to continue developing my career in the frontend development or even the UX design area.

Currently, I'm studying a Master's degree in a major in Medical Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Mannheim. In my Bachelor's time, I realized that I have a passion for mobile app development in the medical field. And then, luckily, I found Liftric.

Since I joined Liftric, I have improved my working skills and acquired new knowledge about the IT world, which helps me feel more confident in my career.
Besides, the Liftric team members are so friendly that I can get help and share many things without hesitation, which also develops my soft skills.

I‘m studying Computer Science Master's degree at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern.

During my time as a working student at Liftric so far, I have found the chance to experience new concepts, improve myself and work on actual software products, which I value the most as a student. On top of that, I certainly feel independent and I‘m free to take responsibility. Even though this leads to mistakes and errors sometimes, there are people at Liftric you can always ask for help. At the end of the day, technical knowledge can be gotten from anywhere, nevertheless, it is not easy to find a relaxed environment where one can keep learning and have good communication.
